What is difference between Republic Day and Independence Day

Let us be aware of something important  Celebrations for Indians:


Republic Day is honored for INDIA on which  the date on which the Constitution of India came into force on 
26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India.


India achieved independence from British rule on 15 August 1947 following the Indian independence movement noted for largely peaceful non-violent resistance and civil disobedience led by Mahatma Gandhi. 
Republic Day in Hindi = गणतंत्र दिवस.
Republic Day in Telugu = గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవం.

Independence Day, is annually observed on 15 August as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the British Empire on 15 August 1947. India attained independence following an Independence Movement noted for largely nonviolent resistance and civil disobedience led by the Indian National Congress (INC).. 

Independence Day in Hindi = स्वतंत्रता दिवस.
Independence Day in Telugu = స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవం.
